We had a decent night's sleep at the Golden View Resort in Baan Suan Phueang.
Het ontbijt bestaat uit oploskoffie en smakelijke rijstsoep, maar vandaag ook met cakejes.

The plan for today is simple, we go to Hua Hin and depending on the time we arrive we also go for a massage.
We leave Baan Suan Phueang at about 9 am. We want to drive on back roads and that is often slow. After a while we want to go to the highway and with the help of Google we drive to Phetchkasem Road where we arrive close to the junction with Rama II Road. From that point it is a quick drive via Phetchaburi and Cha-am to Hua Hin.
Just before Cha-am we stop at a gas station for a sanitary stop and a cup of coffee. This is a very large gas station, more of a shopping center, and we also look around for clothes.

We have been to Hua Hin many times in the past and therefore we know where the next hotel is. At half past one we are at the next hotel, Royal Pavillion Hua Hin, where we can immediately checking in. We take the luggage to the room which is spacious and bright, this is more our taste than the Golden View Resort.

We don't feel like eating yet and we walk through Hua Hin to Royal Thai Massage where we already went in November. Pia goes for Traditional massage, Tom for foot massage. Afterwards we are very satisfied.

We walk through Thanon Naresdamri looking for a place to eat, a late lunch or an early dinner or both. Ultimately we choose Chomkluen, a restaurant above the beach and the sea. It is quiet, the service is very friendly and the food is delicious. This restaurant is only open during the day.

After dinner we walk to the night market and look around. It is quiet, even at the restaurants at the back of the market.
We sit down at Railway Restaurant where we have a drink and listen to the (reasonable) live music.
There is some commotion among the mainly Western visitors on the terrace when there appear to be mosquitoes, which is a pity. And even more commotion when a rat walks through the restaurant. But that can happen.
